Long time between posts...

I can't believe how quickly February has flown by! At least orientation is over for another semester at work and hopefully I will be able to catch my breath.

The last few months have seen me take a bit of break from my crafting so that we could get back into the reno's on our little post war home. It's hard work and demanding whilst working full time but very rewarding. We have just finished off the study which you can see below. It is amazing what a coat of paint (and little demolition) can do for a room.

We are now moving into the second bedroom where I have become one with the wallpaper steamer. I can't wait to get it finished but it will be a little while yet.

I have not completely stopped all crafty stuff and I have been working on a few things for the April Suitcase Rummage. Hopefully by then I will be back in full market swing. Here's a sneak peak...

Thanks so much to you all that are reading my little blog I really love sharing a little part of my world with you:)

Time to Rummage ...

Don't forget, the first Suitcase Rummage of 2011 is on this Sunday starting at Midday!!

This month they will be back up at Radcliffe Place at the top of the Queen Street Mall (outside the Casino). As usual there will be some awesome vintage and handmade goodies on sale.

Sadly I won't be having a stall this month as it is the busiest time of year at work and creative time and energy is lacking. Hopefully I will be back on deck next month.

It's our little secret...

This morning we decided to go and try Ave Cucina & Coffee Bar a new cafe which has opened just down the road from us at Coorparoo. The cafe popped up last December but we have not had the chance to drop in and try it out.

After reading the review in the Brisbane News we discovered that it is actually owned by the winners of My Kitchen Rules, Shadi and Veronica. The article also raved about the French toast on offer and after having some this morning I have to agree. It is one of the best French Toast breakfasts I have had. It was so delicious.

It is great to see the fusion of their Lebanese/Italian heritage on their menu. It is definitely worth a visit.
