This morning we decided to go and try Ave Cucina & Coffee Bar a new cafe which has opened just down the road from us at Coorparoo. The cafe popped up last December but we have not had the chance to drop in and try it out.After reading the review in the Brisbane News we discovered that it is actually owned by the winners of My Kitchen Rules, Shadi and Veronica. The article also raved about the French toast on offer and after having some this morning I have to agree. It is one of the best French Toast breakfasts I have had. It was so delicious.
It is great to see the fusion of their Lebanese/Italian heritage on their menu. It is definitely worth a visit.

We haven't done a suitcase rummage since meeting you there back in November.. want to get back to it, but haven't had much time to make anything! At this rate, I probably won't be back there until about June...!

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry I did not see your comment. It has just been such a busy start to the year. I'm glad you like the scrabble tile header :) I'm still learning when it comes to all this blog designing thing.
I'm hoping to jump on esty soon as well. With work it is hard being able to attend the Rummage every month. I'm hoping though to be back there for the April market. I hope to see you there sometime soon :)
